Soul of Krishi is a rejuvenative and regenerative agricultural consulting not for profit company that provides the support and confidence to help our farmers, urbanites, gardeners, protected cultivators, new entrepreneurs and individuals interested in environment friendly farming to produce safe toxin free outcome, reduce input costs, increase profits and ensure family farming future. We accomplish this by providing advice, consultancy and educating and mentoring farmers and all those interested in farming and gardening. We believe in the principles and practices needed to restore, repair, rebuild, rejuvenate and regenerate their farming ecosystems.
We are professional soil scientists and we live and breathe by one goal: To enable a sustainable future for farmers through balanced nutrition with least adverse impact on soil and plant health. We aim at enhancing profitability through enhancing nutrient use efficiency. We do this by advising the farmers tailoring to the requirement of individual farmers field, crop and soil with available technology that help them grow more with less by making plants reach their full potential, sustainably. Our aim is that every one of our recommended new agronomic practice, recommended tool or recommended procedures should improve nutrient efficiency, increase yield and projectile profits by maximizing the health of every plant.

Dr. A. N. Ganeshamurthy
Expert scientist and advisory consultant
I am a Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Science and an Agriculture Research Service Scientist with 40 years of experience in the field and research laboratory. I worked at several Universities and ICAR Institutes like Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, Central Agricultural Research Institute, Port Blair in Andaman, Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal, Indian Institute of Pulses Research, Kanpur, Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru besides Dean of College of Agriculture at Central Agricultural University Imphal and worked in Denmark at The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Copenhagen.
I designed and laid out research farm of Indian Institute of Soil Science and improved the field layouts at other working places. I developed land use plans for many regions and crops. Have extensive experience in the area of soil health management and nutrient management of crops.
I have a patent in mycorrhiza production, and have developed several products like Arka Microbial Consortium, Arka Fermented Cocopeat, Arka Actino Plus, Arka Grapes Special, Pomegranate Special and Papaya Special and Potato Special. I have developed technologies for roof top gardening, periurban farming, protected cultivation, pot mixture development and nutrient solutions for soil less culture. I have also developed a technology for production of roots of root based ayurvedic medicinal plants particularly “The Dashamoolas”. I am an advisor to Bruhad Bengaluru Mahanagar Palika (BBMP) on solid waste management. I am in several committees as advisors of several institutes. I am also the President of the Indian Society of Soil Science, Bengaluru Chapter. I have been advising and guiding farmers, throughout the country in all aspects of agriculture and horticulture including land use planning and water management.
